PUBG to Return in India ,Confirm Sources.

PUBG Mobile India has been given a green signal by the government

Pubg Mobile has recently got the green light from the Indian telecommunication industry to start its operation in the country.

Sources say the Indian government has given the go-ahead for PUBG Mobile’s comeback. The exact release date is still months away and has not been fixed, but the company is definitely coming back. TSM and Ghatak made the same kind of claims about the company. However, the government has made no official comment on such claims.

GodNixon, aka Luv Sharma, a popular PUBG Mobile content creator, has now shared an update that the government has finally approved PUBG Mobile India.

|IN SHORT

What is it?

A new PUBG Mobile game specifically for India

Why was it banned?

Improper handling of Indian user data

How much will it cost?

Free, with in-app purchases

Launch date?

Awaiting final approval from the government

The company says it will maximize the data security of its players and comply with local regulations. According to reports, PUBG Mobile has developed customized game content for Indian players. These include clothing for new characters, virtual simulations, training site settings, green hit effects, and red ones.

The government response to RTI showed that PUBG Mobile will launch in India in the near future. The claim was drastically reduced by the Indian government, which said permission had been granted to introduce the mobile game in the country.

Krafton is hoping for a comeback of PUBGs in India and is working towards the release of the Indian version of the game. A few days ago, the company announced that a release of PUBG Mobile India was underway and was in the offing. Kraft’s head of corporate development Sean Hyunil said at a recent event that the game was working hard on a comeback.

The MEITY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) banned PUBG Mobile alongside 118 apps on September 2 because they “are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the security of the state and public order.”

The step was taken post complaints stating that these apps were stealing and sharing data with unauthorized third parties whose servers were located outside India. With a user base of over 33 million at its peak, PUBG Mobile suffered a big blow overnight.

Following the ban, the game continued to work for those who had it downloaded earlier and this number was close to 145 million. But it finally stopped working for those users as well on October 30.

Why PUBG Mobile was banned in India?

Following the ban, PUBG Corp let go of its partnership with Tencent Games in India. PUBG Corporation is a South Korean company that owns the game on all platforms, including smartphones. However, China’s Tencent Holdings has a minority stake in PUBG Mobile globally, which was the problematic element in this case. To tackle this, PUBG Corporation announced that it will take up all the publishing responsibilities of the game in India and will deauthorize Tencent to be involved in the franchise.

It is important to note that no official announcement has been made about the availability of PUBG Mobile in India. What I can tell you is that the company is looking after the Indian market and I have learned that you know that I have friends in the Indian gaming industry. But I can’t say anything about the timing because we don’t know.

How soon can we see the Indian Pubg Mobile-only the time can tell.

This is the End.

Thank You For Reading.
